Family Information Service - West Sussex FIS provides information on finding/paying for childcare and activities/support services for families

The Family Information Service (FIS) can help you with:
- Finding good quality childcare, including childminders, nurseries, pre-schools and out-of-school clubs
- Free Childcare places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds and help with the cost of childcare
- Extra help for parents and carers with bespoke childcare needs including school pick-up services
- Advice and support with starting school, early educat

ion and learning
- Complaints about childcare providers
- Information on county and local activities for your family, i.e. Parent and Toddler groups, leisure activities, Children and Family Centres and Toy Libraries, Sensory toy libraries and Early Years Hubs based at CFCs
- Support groups and services

We are the only locally authorised service to receive daily updates from Ofsted, who are responsible for childcare registration. Information is available on our website and by phone, post, or email. You can contact us as many times as you like and it is always free of charge.
