🎉 Skillzone 2026 – What a Success! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Whites Field for this year’s Skillzone! Despite the unpredictable weather, we welcomed an amazing 91 children aged 8–14 to enjoy a fantastic range of activities.

📈 Skillzone is going from strength to strength:
2024 – 30 | 2025 – 62 | 2026 – 91! 🎯

🐴 The Bucking Donkey was the biggest hit, closely followed by the Climbing Wall 🧗 and Circus Skills 🤹.

It was wonderful to see so many families returning from previous years, and the positive feedback has been fantastic.

Thank you to all the volunteers, activity providers and everyone who helped make the day possible. ❤️

Skillzone is definitely becoming a highlight of the local community calendar – we can’t wait to see you again next year! 🙌

We were delighted to be told today about the amount of people who gathered on Chinnor Hill to watch the eclipse last night and left the area completely rubbish free! Huge thank you to all of you!

Due to the internet outage affecting parts of the village (including us), the Parish Council office will be closed today. We hope to be open tomorrow when normal service is resumed! Unfortunately, we have no phone lines either.

🔨 Conigre Play Area – Station Road 🔨

🎉 We are pleased to announce that the long-awaited refurbishment of the Little Hamlet Play Unit will commence on 2nd June.

🚧 For the safety of all visitors, the play area will be temporarily closed while the improvement works are carried out.

🙏 We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding while these enhancements are completed.
