Also, last year 259 volunteers helped 6,334 children take part in the Summer Reading Challenge – an incredible achievement, and we’re looking forward to this year’s campaign 📖

Great to see you new Lib Dem Swindon Borough Councillor Martin Barrett Wroughton & Wichelstow. being kept busy.

More tree issues to report seems to be one of my main points of concern from our residents.
Anybody with local issues they may wish to talk about please let me know. All details are on the Parish Web page. Currently looking to set up a Surgery in the village as yet to find a suitable venue.
I will keep you all posted when this has been resolved. Surgeries for Wichelstow I would hope to use the Cafe at Waitrose more details to come.

Thank you to everyone who voted Liberal Democrat in Thursday’s Swindon Council elections.

Congratulations to Martin Barrett elected for Wroughton & Wichelstowe. Comiserations to our other four candidates, especially Stan Pajak, who missed out by just 22 votes.

As Stan says Lib Dem councillors are voted for by the people and are there to be the voice of all of their constiuents.

Remember in our two Swindon wards Chiseldon & Ridgeway and Wroughton and Wichelstow vote for the Lib Dems for your local champions who will fight for a fair deal for you and your community.
