Here is our statement on the proposed SEND reforms. The concerns around these reforms are entirely justified and it is important to be heard. We advise that you respond to the government's consultation process as soon as possible. Contact your MP, repeatedly if necessary, to make your concerns clear and join one of the demonstrations if you can. Stay strong and stand together. SEN Action.

You don't need to be Catholic to appreciate how Pope Francis often spoke out for the rights of children with special educational needs. He consistently advocated for their dignity, rights, and inclusion and condemned a culture that views people with disabilities as a burden. He called for a society that recognizes their value and to provide full access to education, employment, and other opportunities.
