Who is Moonrakers’ EduCafe for?
Everyone is welcome. 💙
Join us at the Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre for community connection and free activities inspired by history and heritage. Whether you come for a chat, to learn something new, or simply to spend time with others, there is a place for you here.
We welcome:
• Local residents, volunteers, and community members
• Grandparents, carers, parents, and nannies
• Young people, including those who are care experienced or neurodivergent
• People new to the area, including migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and those who speak English as an additional language
• People living with disabilities, long-term conditions, or other health-related needs

😀 2 New Benches Installed 😀

Really lovely to see two new benches now in place in Westcroft Park, Hungerdown lane thanks to a request from residents and funding from Stonewater UK.

With all the recent improvements, the park is becoming such a nice space for people to spend time in, and these benches are a simple but brilliant addition. They give people a chance to stop for a breather, have a chat with a friend, or just sit and watch the world go by. They might even help a few of us walk a little bit further knowing there’s somewhere to rest along the way.
The Get Wiltshire Walking community group even managed to catch a break in the rain and grab a photo next to one of the benches, perfect timing for a well-earned sit down!
A big thank you to everyone involved in helping make Westcroft Park such a welcoming place 💚

Lots of fantastic seeds in the seed swap today, including vegetables, herbs and flowers 🌱

Please note that some of the flower packets have passed their sow-by date, so germination may be lower. It is a good idea to sow a few extra seeds to allow for this.

All the vegetable seeds added yesterday are heritage varieties, which means you can save seeds for next year too. Please do help yourself, and if you have any spare seeds at home, feel free to pop them in for others to enjoy.

Everyone is welcome to come along to the last of our series of 'Munch & Mingle' funded by Chippenham Borough Lands Charity today from 1:30pm. Join neighbours and friends for a chat, a cuppa and a lovely soup.

Today we have 2 lovely soups, Frances's lovely "Red Soup" a lovely tomato and pepper soup and Laura is making "Borscht" which is a vibrant beetroot soup.
