The Wonky Naan are serving up delicious pizza-style naan breads at the Chippenham Market on the High Street until 2.30pm.

Why not enjoy it at the Pop-Up Park next to the Buttercross? This has recently been installed and will be an enjoyable seating area to use over the summer months.

Chippenham Bus Station will be temporarily closed for essential resurfacing works on:

Fri 5 June (from 7pm)
Sat 6 & Sun 7 June
Sat 13 & Sun 14 June

🚫 During these times, the following stops will not be served:

Bus Station
Gladstone Road
The Causeway

🚌 Alternative stops:

Town Bridge (main town centre stop)
Railway Station (where relevant)
Rivo Lounge stop (for some services, e.g. X34/44P

Please plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.

We are continuing to celebrate Volunteers Week.

Alongside the Museum, we have 17 volunteers who work in our CCTV team. Last year, these volunteers completed over 1300 hours of service; this is an average of 2 – 4 hours per week per volunteer.

Our CCTV volunteers are a pivotal component in keeping our town safe. All of our live monitoring is completed by the volunteers; they monitor and interact with Police via the radio and provide a much-needed overview when live incidents or crimes are taking place.

It’s safe to say that the difference they make is huge and without them our Town CCTV would not as effective. Chippenham Police have praised the team for being so helpful and professional during live incidents which at times have included serious offences such as robbery and serious assault.

Thank you to all of our CCTV volunteers for helping to keep our community safe.
