Phew what a week we have just had

probably our busiest ever with 5 events over 7 days and I think approx 600 people through the gates (300 in house throughout the week and 300 in gardens yesterday !)

A huge thank you to :

all who came along and supported events - the house is built to entertain and comes alive when full of people

the North Wales Police Cadets and their leaders who supply hugely appreciated extra pairs of hands at the charity garden opening

to the volunteers from the Clwyd Special Riding Centre (beneficiary of tea and cake sales) who came to spread the word about this wonderful local charity

And especially to our housekeeping team for some very speedy turnarounds in the house and the gardening team for all the hard work in the garden

We had so many compliments about the sight and smells of our glorious rhododendrons and personally I don’t think the shrubbery has ever look so good ….

So glad the sun shone and visitors could really appreciate it all. Roll on this week…!

Always a nerve wracking day…will the weather be kind? Will anyone turn up? Will we have enough cake?

Come and see our stunning rhododendrons and azaleas and help raise fund for the many charities supported by the National Garden Scheme

And just like that another week is nearly over….

It’s a very busy one here with 5 events which finish with our annual opening of the gardens for the National Garden Scheme

If you are planning your weekend, why not pop along on SUNDAY and see our stunning rhododendrons and azaleas and help raise funds for the many charities supported by this great initiative

The National Garden Scheme has been funding nursing and health charities since 1927 through people opening their gardens across the UK and last year raised a whopping £3,875,596 - a new meaning to “Flower Power” ?! 🌻🌹💪
