Book recommendation: The ocean at the end of the lane by Neil Gaiman. A very well written piece of fantasy fiction about a boy who accidentally brings a monster into our world and the women, in the farm next door, who help him defeat it, with a little help from the puddle at the end of their lane! I hugely enjoyed this book.

Book recommendation: Before the coffee gets cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi. In a basement café a phenomenon exists in which you can travel in time to talk to someone who has also been to the café, but you must finish the coffee before it gets cold to return. An interesting story that's message, I think, is seize the day.
