Company Overview

Family Care is a family owned organisation that has been helping children in care since 1988. We have 2 schools for children with special educational needs, 5 children's homes, and an independent fostering agency supporting foster families across the North West and the Midlands. We follow established therapeutic practice models, led by the Secure Base. Our therapy team train all

foster carers and staff to work within this framework, helping us to provide 24/7 therapeutically-informed care to our children and young people.

Cooking through the World Cup: Mexico Edition! 🥘⚽

Why are we making Enchiladas? Because food can sometimes be the best way to bridge cultures and create a sense of identity.

In therapeutic fostering, helping a child connect to the wider world. and to their own heritage, is so important. Trying out new recipes like these Mexican Enchiladas is a fun, low-pressure way to spark curiosity, build confidence in the kitchen, and, most importantly, make memories as a family.
