Company Overview

Family Care is a family owned organisation that has been helping children in care since 1988. We have 2 schools for children with special educational needs, 5 children's homes, and an independent fostering agency supporting foster families across the North West and the Midlands. We follow established therapeutic practice models, led by the Secure Base. Our therapy team train all

foster carers and staff to work within this framework, helping us to provide 24/7 therapeutically-informed care to our children and young people.

We are officially partnering with Preston North End Community & Education Trust! ⚽🤝

We are beyond proud to announce a new 12-month partnership with PNECET to support their incredible Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision across Lancashire.

Through this partnership, Family Care will help fund and support weekly SEND sessions—one for under-18s and one for over-18s—ensuring inclusive, safe, and welcoming opportunities for young people and adults in our local community to build confidence and new skills. 🌟

As a provider of specialist education and foster care with over 30 years of experience, aligning with such an iconic local club to champion inclusivity is a dream come true.

A massive congratulations to all of our amazing young people receiving results today. We are beyond proud to share that every single one of our students at Access left with a qualification in English and Maths, and everyone achieved exactly as expected! A special mention goes to our Art students, who blew us away with some brilliant grades of 5 and above. 🎨✨
