Thank you so much to Chudleigh Knighton friendship group at Chudleigh Knighton Village Hall who gave Cllr Susan Hunt and myself such a warm welcome this afternoon. You all did so well at the parish themed quiz and it was really good to gain your feedback for our infrastructure survey.

Hennock Parish Council is working in partnership with Teignbridge District Council to develop an Infrastructure Plan that will identify local priorities for Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding.

The first stage of this project involved conducting an audit of existing infrastructure across the parish. We have also been gathering residents' views through community engagement activities, including our Annual Parish Meeting and the “If you had a magic wand or a pot of gold, what would you spend the money on?” campaign, which was promoted via our page, parish noticeboards, and newsletters.

We have now launched our formal six-week public consultation and are keen to hear from as many people as possible who have a connection to Hennock Parish.

The consultation can be accessed here:

SHARING for Teignbridge District Council

If you’re on a low income and need financial assistance, the Crisis & Resilience Fund may be able to help with your costs.

Teignbridge District Council is administering government funding to support vulnerable households who use heating oil to heat their homes.

Financial help is also available to households who are struggling with sudden financial difficulties.

As well as providing emergency financial help, Teignbridge is working with partners to offer longer term support, such as financial health checks, debt and benefit advice and help with budgeting.
