Every morning before we open, we test the water to ensure the chlorine and pH levels are correct. We repeat these tests at regular intervals during the day.
In the interests of product research, we also get in to see the pool from our customers’ point of view.
This morning, four of our lifeguards tested the water and we are pleased to report that it is warmer in than out.
We look forward to seeing you -

If your little ones have had you up since 5am, then 9 o’clock probably doesn’t feel like an early start!

Why not come along to our adult and preschool child session? It runs every weekday morning from 9–10am and costs just £6. Book ahead or just drop by.

While the you and the little ones enjoy the children's pool ( 0.5 m deep and heated to 26 C ), lane swimming is taking place in the main pool - there’s always a friendly buzz on site. Parents and carers often say it’s a lovely, sociable way to start the day, with a chance to chat, relax and enjoy a free cuppa.

Only £6 for the hour including your free tea or coffee.

Swim Nappies available in the tuck shop

We’d love to see you there – come along and try it!

After a couple of days for the team and the pool to recover from the heatwave, we are now officially looking forward to some sunshine.

In the meantime, why not come for a swim?

Reasons to be cheerful & to swim:

1) The pool is heated to 26.1°c.
2) We have hot showers.
3) The tuckshop sells hot drinks and snacks.
4) The tuckshop also sells ice creams.
5) There’s only so much cleaning (or pool presentation) that a lifeguard can do before thinking that’s quite enough for one day.

We look forward to seeing you soon. Please see our website for timetable and prices.

This is the team that does all the maintenance in the plant room and around the site.
All volunteers, they devote many hours of their time to ensure that everything is running smoothly. Occasionally they call in a specialist, but we rely on them to do everything from unblocking sinks to the more complicated aspects of keeping the pool water clean and warm. They all have skills in many areas, but the dark arts of the plant room are where they gel as a team.
Last Spring they were on hand to assist the plasterers when we had a major upgrade to the pool lining.
Recently their contribution to the pool and community was recognised in Cirencester’s Community Awards.
Marcus runs the team in a relaxed, yet efficient manner. However, he always insists that everyone stands in the same order in any photo.

How to get into the pools.

The main pool is 2.0m deep at the deep end and 1.2m at the shallow end.

You can:
Slide in the safe way (swivel entry), as is now taught at swim schools.
Jump in, if safe to do so or if there is someone to catch you (this doesn’t normally happen in adult lane sessions).
Dive in - only at the deep end, if safe to do so.
Use one of the ladders at the deep end or the steps at the shallow end.
Use the slide if you are a child/teenager (under lifeguard supervision).
Use the pool hoist. The pool hoist is available for all sessions and a lifeguard will lower you into the pool in the shallow end. Please let us know when you arrive if we can help you.

The small pool is 0.75m deep, with two sets of steps. The pool hoist is also available for this pool.
