We're supporting Froglife to launch a new project working with local people in Scotland and Yorkshire's coalfield areas to make the change from Coalface to Wildspace.

The Coalface to Wildspace project will support recovery and creation of habitats for amphibians and reptiles through 31 local projects. Providing healthy pools and ponds for breeding, creating corridors to link wildlife populations, and giving everybody a chance to get involved.

A huge thanks from us to Scottish Wildlife Trust, especially their Ayrshire staff and volunteers, for helping launch Coalface to Wildspace at Knockshinnoch Lagoons Nature Reserve, New Cumnock.

The Scottish project will work across Ayrshire, Lanarkshire and Lothian - look out 👀 for a Coalface to Wildspace group starting up near you.

Thank you to National Lottery players who raise the money for projects like this.
