Dear Boys, Parents/Guardians and friends,

We know that there will be many nervous households this year, on the eve of a most extraordinary SQA results day.

Just posting to let you know we are thinking of, and hoping for, good results for you all. Whether you’re still an active member of Clackmannan BB, or one of our life-long friends who have departed for other activities - we wish you well.

Given that this year is so different, things are different ...

With a “teacher hat” on, please don’t panic if you don’t get what you expected. Your school can advise you of next steps, as can Skills Development Scotland, UCAS and many other organisations.

Hi Company Section, Junior Section and Anchor Boy parents.

We hope that you are all well, safe and managing to enjoy “quality family time”

We are missing you all and all the boys. It is very strange.

We have decided to take part in the National BB Hashtag “ ” it has been used on twitter mainly, but can be done on Facebook too.

When you have a minute, if you don’t follow us on twitter please download the app - it is free, and VERY easy to use. You just need to follow once and then you get all the updates. It’s like Facebook without all the nonsense (oops, we may get chucked off for saying that)

The idea would be that next Friday night, we do an BBatHome session - we would love it if you would share your pics in reply to our BBatHome tweet on twitter, and we will share it nationally and internationally. If you don’t use twitter DONT PANIC all you do is press reply, type what you want and use the wee pic icon to add your pic. It’s easier than FB!! We will share the collated one on our Facebook but given it’s a twitter “thing” let’s start it there.

Target for this week - let’s get every family following us and we will touch base again soon.

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE

As a precautionary measure, we are suspending all sections of Clackmannan Boys’ Brigade until further notice.

Please everyone, take good care and follow national advice.

This has not been a BB directive, but we have taken this decision at a local level
