Airshow Day 2!

Our Shannon Class All Weather Lifeboat is expected to launch around 11am today come down and see our lifeboat launch.

Plans may change due to operational requirements.

Air show Day 1

What a fantastic day it's been so far! We've had an action-packed morning with the All-Weather Lifeboat and D-Class Lifeboat launch, showcasing their incredible rescue capabilities. And we've been treated to some truly fantastic flight displays that have left us all in awe!

The pilots' skills and the aircraft's agility have been on full display, and we can't get enough of it! We also had lost of fantastic food up for grabs.

Why not pop down to Day 2 for some more amazing views, thrilling stunts, and a chance to get up close and personal with the planes and their pilots? You won't want to miss it!

Join us at the Clacton Air Show and Lifeboat Open Day! The highly anticipated event has finally arrived, and we're excited to get underway.

Visit the lifeboat station to explore the various activities and food venders on offer; the lifeboat shop will also be open, providing an opportunity to acquire some fantastic summer items.

On Thursday, 27th and Friday, 28th August, our Shannon All Weather Lifeboat is scheduled to launch at approximately 8:30am.

This exercise will ensure our Shannon Class All Weather Lifeboat remains operational during the Air Show, accommodating the anticipated large crowds. We invite you to attend and witness the launch.

Due to operational requirements this plan is liable to change.

Saving Lives at Sea Returns!

The award-winning BBC series Saving Lives at Sea is back for its 11th series, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible work of the RNLI volunteer crews and lifeguard around the UK and Ireland.

Starting Tuesday 18th August at 8pm the new 10 part series will feature dramatic rescue, emotional moments, paddleboard, kayak and surf incidence, animal rescue and much more showcasing the courage, commitment and professionalism of the RNLI lifesavers when every second counts.

Don't miss the opportunity to see the realities of lifesaving at sea and the difference our volunteers make every day.
