Looking for information, advice, or support to help you stay healthy and well? Come along to the Community Health & Wellbeing Fair, hosted by Mayflower Medical Centre.

📅 Tuesday 8 September 2026

📍 Park Pavilion, Barrack Lane, Harwich, CO12 3NS

You will be able to meet a variety of organisations and services, including:

✅ Local charities
✅ Screening services
✅ Mental health support
✅ Extended GP practice staff
✅ CVST winter support items
✅ And many more

No need to book or register, simply drop in on the day.

Please share with anyone who may benefit from learning more about the health and wellbeing services.

Following a successful walkabout in Harwich on 5 August, where Housing staff were joined by tenants to discuss local issues, identify improvement opportunities and share feedback about their neighbourhood, we are inviting residents to join us for our next Tenant Estate Walkabouts.

• Call our repairs team
• Visit us in person

To help us fix things faster, please tell us:

• What needs repairing (photos help!)
• A convenient time for access

Residents at Honeycroft in Lawford recently met with local organisations offering advice on energy costs, fire safety, digital confidence, wellbeing and more. The event helped bring valuable support services directly to residents where they live. 👇

🏡From energy bill guidance to improving digital confidence, Honeycroft residents receive support services on their doorstep.

Residents at Lawford's Honeycroft recently benefitted from a community support event that brought expert advice and local services direct to their door.

💡Organised by Community Voluntary Services Tendring (CVST) and Tendring District Council, the event connected residents with organisations offering guidance on everything from energy bills and fire safety to digital skills, wellbeing and independent living.

📍Around 20 residents had the chance to speak directly with support services, helping them stay safe, connected and confident in their daily lives.

The initiative highlights the power of partnership working to ensure older residents can continue living independently while remaining active members of their community.
