National Trust Clent Hills

National Trust Clent Hills A stunning countryside haven in the heart of the busy Midlands. We welcome feedback – both positive and negative. It helps us to learn and grow.

On the edge of Birmingham and the Black Country, the Clent Hills offers a green oasis with panoramic views. This page is not manned 24/7, we update out of hours in emergencies such as weather or government guideline changes around Covid 19. It’s nearly VIP time…
That’s Very Important Puffins time! 🐧

Join us in Birmingham this weekend for a burrow-side view of puffins, live on a big screen in Centenary Square (in front of the library).

Our Window to the Wild roadshow returns to the city on Saturday and Sunday (30–31 May), and this time the spotlight – or rather, our clifftop we**am – is on the puffins of the Farne Islands.

Relax in one of our deckchairs and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of a colony that includes around 40,000 breeding pairs. Super-cute and seriously important, puffins play a vital role in Atlantic biodiversity.

Come along to discover more about these fascinating seabirds and how we care for this special stretch of coastline year-round.

✨ What to expect:

- Live puffin footage
- Quizzes and free puffin badges
- Friendly chats with our Window to the Wild team

🎤 Sunday special:
Hear from nature specialist Ajay Tegala, who will be sharing expert insights into birds and wildlife on Sunday at 2.30pm and 4pm

📍 When: 11am–5pm, Saturday 30 & Sunday 31 May
📍 Where: Centenary Square, Birmingham (outside the library)
📍 What: A National Trust Window to the Wild pop-up with live Farne Islands puffin footage, deckchairs, quizzes and more
