Scott and Will had a fantastic evening at Velo-city 2026 in Rimini, joining cyclists from around the world for the vibrant cycle parade through the city.

The parade was a brilliant way to experience Rimini's unique atmosphere - from its lively streets to the stunning Adriatic coastline. It was great to see so many people celebrating cycling together and showcasing the positive impact active travel can have on our communities.

A memorable evening and a fantastic reminder of how cycling brings people and places together.

A big thanks to our installer, Mark, for his sterling efforts.

King George's Field in Pershore gets a glow up with the installation of Solareye80 Bat Hat ground lights.

This large open public space stretches down to the River Avon, offering scenic walking routes and boat moorings that welcome river travellers into the town. It also serves as a hub for community sports, recreation and local events.

The new ground lights improve visibility and safety along the water's edge, while the Bat Hat design reduces upward light spill, helping to minimise the impact of artificial light at night on nocturnal wildlife.

With just one week to go until Velo-city 2026 kicks off in Rimini, we’ve been reminiscing about all the good times we’ve had at the global cycling summit over the years.

We can’t wait to be back among the buzz of Velo-city - catching up with friends and partners from across the cycling world, making new connections, and celebrating the power of cycling to create healthier, happier cities.

Install ground lights in a heatwave you say? No problem! As long as the tarmac hasn't melted (it does happen!)

Never a team to moan about a bit of extra solar gain, our installers grabbed a brolly for some much-needed shade and pressed on with the planned works last week.

These images are from Colchester, where Solareye80 Bat Hat ground lights have been installed along a dedicated walking and cycling route running alongside a dual carriageway and link road.
