Welcome back everyone! A busy first couple of days with a special welcome mention to our new children and families in Class One and also to Mrs Cregan. We hope you’ll all be very happy here 🙂

Twas the night before the school year began,
And I was excited — as excited as I can!
My bag was all packed, my shoes by the door,
Ready for fun, and adventures galore!

I wondered what my new class would be,
And all the new friends I’d soon get to see.
The games we might play would fill me with cheer,
And pictures I’d paint throughout the year.

There may be some nerves, but that’s okay too,
There’ll be lots of exciting new things to do.
With stories and laughter and friends by my side,
I’ll step through the school gates with wonderful pride.

So I snuggled in tight and closed my eyes,
Dreaming of classrooms and a lovely surprise.
Tomorrow’s a new adventure, shining so bright—
So off to sleep I went, ready for morning light!
