You may have heard by now about the death of a woman in Longridge earlier this month or have seen the police activity in the area following it.
Hannah Fry, 29, became unwell at an address on Meadow Croft, Longridge whilst our officers were in attendance on 13th July.
She was taken to hospital but very sadly, despite the best efforts of the emergency services and medical professionals, she was pronounced deceased.
Hannah's family have today paid a loving tribute to her, and have asked us to share that tribute on their behalf.
Kevin and Sarah Harcup said: "We are devastated to announce the tragic and sudden passing of our beloved daughter, Hannah Eidann Fry, on Monday, 13th July.
“Hannah was our beautiful and only daughter, the light of our lives and the love in our hearts and souls. She was a devoted mother to her two precious daughters, a cherished daughter, granddaughter, sister, and a loyal, loving friend to so many.
“At just 29 years old, Hannah's life was far too short. She was not only beautiful inside and out, but also funny, bubbly, witty, and full of life, with a fantastic personality.
“She will always be remembered for her madcap sense of humour, her infectious laugh, and her ability to light up every room she entered.
“Hannah had an extraordinary capacity for love, kindness, compassion, and loyalty. She was truly one of a kind, and there will never be another like her.
“She will be forever missed, not only by our family but by the countless people whose lives she touched.
“Her middle name, Eidann, means Gift from God, and she truly was the greatest gift we could ever have received.
“Gone far too soon but loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
“Until we see you again, Hannah, we love you to the moon, the stars, and back.
“Forever in our hearts, our girly bear 🐻
“Love always, Mummy, Daddy Kev and Nanna❤️🕊️"
Our thoughts remain with Hannah's loved ones, who are being supported by specially trained officers, at this devestating time.
Hannah’s death is being treated as unexplained, and enquiries into what led to it are ongoing.
