This photo marks the final cut of the season at Bracken Ridge, Shirebrook, but the accompanying video tells the real story behind the result.

The Middle Grounds Maintenance Team has faced a particularly challenging season this year. Ongoing issues with essential machinery, including the ride-on mower, along with a range of operational challenges and setbacks, have tested the team time and time again. While residents often see the finished standard, they don't always see the difficulties, resilience and determination required to get there.

The video captures some of those real struggles behind the scenes and highlights the hard work, teamwork and commitment shown throughout the season. Despite one setback after another, the team kept their heads up, adapted to every challenge and continued delivering for our communities.

The finish achieved at Bracken Ridge is something the whole team can be proud of. It's a fitting end to a tough season and a testament to the dedication of the Middle Team, who never stopped pushing forward regardless of the obstacles in their way.

A well-deserved final cut and a fantastic effort from everyone involved.
