👁️✨ Record-breaking year for our Eye Centre.

NHS Golden Jubilee has become the UK’s largest single-site provider of cataract surgery, carrying out a record 13,581 procedures in 2025/26.

Thousands of patients have received life-changing treatment, helping them regain their sight, confidence and independence.

Patient Garry Kirkwood described his results as going from watching the world on a VHS tape to seeing in "ultra-HD vision".

This achievement reflects the dedication of our Eye Centre teams and our continued commitment to reducing waiting times and improving access to care across Scotland.

Patient Hub is a new digital service being introduced at NHS Golden Jubilee to improve how we communicate with cardiology and Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Services (SACCS) patients from Monday 31 August.

It will provide a simple and secure way for patients to view and manage their appointments online, including confirming attendance, cancelling, or requesting a new date.
