We’re proud to partner with deaf sector charities on a new project: 'BSL and AI: What is the Future?’ 🤝

AI could open up new accessibility options for BSL users, but it needs to be shaped by the community it's built for. 1,000 miles. Nine weeks. One extraordinary journey. 🥾

This summer, Avril Langard-Tang made history as the first deaf woman to independently walk from John O’Groats to Land’s End. On Friday 25 September, Avril joins us at our London office to share the journey behind Silent Steps.

Through personal stories, video footage, and an interactive Q&A, Avril will reflect on her journey across the country and her mission to shine a light on the healthcare barriers deaf people still face.
