LCpl Andrew has completed his temporary posting at AATAW.

During his posting, he has made a significant contribution to delivering parachuting adventurous training to personnel from across the wider service. He has continued to develop his own parachuting experience, completing an impressive 120 jumps and has also achieved his British Skydiving B license.

Members of the Company are currently undertaking a parachuting Adventurous Training package. Throughout the week, personnel have completed ground training and have successfully conducted parachute descents from 4,000 feet.

Our own LCpl Andrew is also on temporary employment with the Army Adventurous Training Air Wing, where he supports instructors in the delivery of training and assists on board the aircraft while students conduct their parachute descents.

This week, we welcome a new OC as the command of 8 Parachute Field Company REME is passed to Major Hallam.

The second picture shows our new OC as a craftsman in 2004 whilst attending a unit preparation course, it has sat on one of the workshops hallways for years gone by. An example of possibilities in the REME and Army with perseverance and commitment.

Finally, we would like to thank Major Angbo for his leadership over the last few years and wish him the best in his next posting.
