Bright Lives Social Enterprise CIC Specialist support for people with Autism and additional learning needs.

We develop person centred support plans, developing the skills of the person through a day service provision as well as offer specialist life skills development. Bright Lives offers specialist support for people with additional needs including PMLD and Autistic spectrum. We support people on their journey to reach their potential throughout North Essex in one of our three day centre provisions tha

t are all approved by the service placement team within ECC. Bright Lives accepts people via personal budgets, private as well as via managed service introduced by your social worker. 💌✨ Bright Lives Makes Some Very Special Cards! ✨💌

Today, Bright Lives got creative and made some special cards for one of our lovely staff members, who will be back with us very soon! 💙🌟

Our students put lots of thought, creativity and care into making each card, creating something personal to welcome them back and let them know just how much they’re missed 😊💐

🚀🎂🔥💦✨ DAY 12 AT WALTON – THE FINAL DAY OF THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS! ✨💦🔥🎂🚀

What an incredible way to finish the summer holidays! For Day 12 at Walton, Bright Lives packed the day full of creativity, delicious food, fun and plenty of unforgettable memories! 🌞🌊

Our students started by getting creative and designing their very own rocket ships 🚀✨, letting their imaginations take off with some fantastic and unique designs.

The creativity continued as everyone had the chance to design their own cakes 🎂🎨, coming up with colourful and imaginative ideas for their perfect creations!

Then it was time to enjoy an AWESOME BBQ! 🔥🍔🌭 Everyone came together to enjoy some delicious food, relax and celebrate the final day of an amazing summer holiday programme 💛

And what better way to end it all than with an EPIC WATER FIGHT! 💦🔫😄 There were plenty of laughs, splashes and surprise attacks as everyone got involved in one final burst of summer fun!

🕹️🎮✨ Bright Lives Goes Retro at Urban Xtreme Colchester! ✨🎮🕹️

Today, Bright Lives travelled back in time with a fantastic trip to Urban Xtreme Retro Arcade in Colchester! Our students had a brilliant time playing a variety of classic retro games and enjoying all the nostalgia of the arcade 🕹️👾

But that wasn't all! The team also took on some mini axe throwing, putting their aim, focus and coordination to the test in a fun and exciting activity 🎯🌟

Today, Bright Lives put their imaginations to work during a fun and engaging creative writing session! Our students had the opportunity to explore their ideas, create their own stories and express themselves through writing 🌟📝

🛶🧪✨ Bright Lives Makes Tin Foil Boats! ✨🧪🛶

Today, Bright Lives got stuck into a fun and exciting science experiment! Our students made their own tin foil boats and put them to the test to see if they could float and carry different animal figures 🐘🦁🐒🌊

🔬 Exploring science through hands-on learning
🛶 Designing and testing their boats
🤔 Making predictions and observations
🤝 Teamwork and sharing ideas
😊 Building confidence through discovery

Everyone had the chance to design their own boat, test it on the water and see how much it could carry before sinking. The students experimented with different ideas and shapes, discovering how design can affect whether something floats or sinks! 🌊✨

There were plenty of exciting experiments, surprising results and lots of great teamwork throughout the session. It was fantastic to see everyone learning through creativity, curiosity and hands-on exploration 💛

Tomorrow we will be finalising interviews for our new Bright Lives Lexden service, which we are working hard to open within the next couple of weeks.

We still have a number of positions available and would particularly like to hear from people with experience in:

🍭🍹✨ Bright Lives Makes Candyfloss Mocktails! ✨🍹🍭

Today, Bright Lives got creative in the kitchen and made some colourful and delicious candyfloss mocktails! 🌈✨

Our students enjoyed preparing their drinks, combining different ingredients and adding the all-important candyfloss for a fun and eye-catching finishing touch 🍭🍹

Today, Bright Lives got creative in their latest Media Studies session as our students filmed an exciting lightsaber fight scene! 🌟🎥

From planning the action to performing in front of the camera, everyone played an important part in bringing the scene to life. The session gave our students the chance to explore filmmaking, storytelling and performance while having plenty of fun along the way! ⚔️🎭

Today, Bright Lives enjoyed another fantastic educational trip to the Natural History Museum in Colchester! Our students had the opportunity to explore fascinating exhibits, discover more about the natural world and learn about the wildlife and environment around us 🌍🔎
