🚌 Looking for something a little different this weekend?

The Sudbury Bus Rally takes place on Sunday 7th June, with a number of free heritage bus services operating throughout the day.

One of the special routes will travel through Myland, giving residents the opportunity to experience a preserved bus on a historic route between Colchester and Bury St Edmunds.

Today marks the 41st anniversary of the opening of St Helena Hospice — a place that has provided comfort, dignity, care and support to so many local families over the decades. 🧡

Since opening its doors to its very first inpatient in 1985, St Helena has become a vital part of our community, supporting people and their loved ones through some of life’s most difficult moments with compassion and kindness.

Myland Community Council would like to take a moment to recognise the incredible staff, volunteers and supporters — past and present — whose dedication has helped make that care possible for 41 years.

Thank you for everything you continue to do for our community. 🧡

A huge congratulations to all that took part in St Helena's Pier-to-Pier fundraiser yesterday between Clacton and Walton Pier 🏆

Whether you walked the 7 or 14 miles, every step taken helped support the incredible work St Helena Hospice does for local residents and families.

It was wonderful to see so many people coming together for such an important cause - well done to all involved!

Nayland Road, Colchester at 7.30pm. All members of the public are welcome to have their say on items on the agenda (see link below).
