7 PARA ROYAL HORSE ARTILLERY

Our very own 16 Air Assault Brigade Airborne Gunners on Commanding Officer’s PT this morning. A 7 mile weighted carry on the local training area with a quick detour to pose at the Colli πŸ†Ž Statue.

β€˜Welcome back off leave lads!’

Fantastic photo!

Colchester Airborne Soldier Statue - Collectors / Ltd Edition / Challenge Coins

Quick update - slight delay on me getting these sent out as a jarred back whilst abroad is slowing me down and I had a few commitments during my leave.

Just to assure people that orders and updated additions for the pin badges are being processed. I have seen payments coming in and will update as I go along.

My apologies - but they are in bound to you shortly.

Day 7 (final / arrival) - CASS 220km Aldershot to Colchester canoe paddle.

🌟🌟 Whoop whoop / they made it!! 🌟🌟

Alex, his son Joe and their dog Sammy arrived at our Colchester Airborne Soldier Statue at 15:00 this afternoon, pretty much bang on their predicted time.

An awesome achievement of 220km from the Aldershot Paratrooper statue, utilising water routes where possible, but having to portage as necessary - total > 6,5 days.

They were received and greeted by members from the East Anglia (Colchester) PRA branch, the Colchester Military Heritage Group and announced by our very own Town (City) Crier for Colchester.

Fantastic effort Alex Hardman and Hardman - thank you for applying your initiative to fundraising for the CASS project. This is hugely appreciated.

We were glad to see you arrive in one piece, albeit quite muddy from the disembarkation from the Colne River Bank at Lower Castle Park. You will sleep well tonight for sure.

Safe journey back home and hang thanks again.
