Two of our very promising young rugby players represented Coleraine Grammar School at the Inaugural Primary School Outreach Programme Festival of Rugby held at the Affidea Stadium, Home of Ulster Rugby on Monday.

The two boys excelled in victories over Royal Belfast Academical Institution Prep and Methodist College Belfast Prep before ending with a draw against Royal School Armagh.

A fantastic experience for two future rugby stars! Well done boys. Everyone at Millburn is so proud of you!

🏐 Staff v Kids Netball – What. A. Morning.

The Staff v Kids netball matches did not disappoint today - fierce competition, dramatic dives, questionable footwork, and enough laughter to power the school for a week.

The kids came out flying, the staff pretended their knees were fine, and every game was packed with brilliant teamwork and big smiles. Competitive? Absolutely. Fun? Off the scale.

Same time next year… once the staff recover.

Our Year 4 & 5 pupils rounded off a fantastic year with a trip to the Jet Centre! 🎳🍿

From celebrating strikes on the bowling lanes to enjoying a big-screen adventure watching Toy Story 5, there were smiles, laughter and plenty of happy memories made throughout the day. 🥤✨

A wonderful way to mark the end of a terrific year. We hope you all had an amazing time! 🌟

A huge thank you to Brandon and the students at Coleraine FC Academy for putting on a first class morning of footballing fun for our P7s at the Coleraine Showgrounds training facilities. The sunshine made it even better and it’s another lovely memory made in their final week of primary school! Coleraine FC

We had the great pleasure of hosting Vanessa and Olivia from the University of Zurich in Switzerland the past three weeks. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the lessons put on for them, especially when it involved eating Swiss chocolate! The girls gained a valuable insight into the Northern Irish education system and made some friends along the way!

We wish them all the best in their teaching career! Safe travels home 🇨🇭

⚽️🔴🟡 WHAT A SEASON! 🔴🟡⚽️

What a proud morning for Millburn PS as our football team was honoured at the Causeway Coast & Glens Civic Headquarters (Cloonavin) in recognition of an extraordinary season - lifting The Northern Ireland Cup, The Doherty Cup, The Mullan Cup and The Causeway Sports Academy Cup.

Today’s celebration was a wonderful reflection of the dedication shown by our pupils, the unwavering support of our parents, the commitment of our staff and the spirit of our wider Millburn community.

A heartfelt thank‑you to the Mayor, Councillor Dawn Huggins and Councillor Philip Anderson for their warm welcome, helping make the occasion truly special.

👏 And finally, huge congratulations to our wee team - you have displayed remarkable consistency, resilience and teamwork throughout a long, demanding season. We couldn’t be prouder of everything you’ve achieved.

A huge congratulations to our Head Boy and football star Henry, who recently helped Ballymena United win the All-Ireland U12 Football Championship! Last month, the team booked their place in the final by becoming NI U12 Champions after a memorable win over Linfield. Ballymena then produced a stunning late comeback against Shelbourne in the All-Ireland final, taking the game to penalties, with Henry smashing the first spot‑kick into the top corner to set the tone! We are incredibly proud of him - a highly successful season for both school and club!

🍬 Congratulations, Kayla (and Auntie Libby)! 🎉

A big well done to Kayla in P1, who collected the prize on behalf of her auntie Libby.
Libby guessed 150 sweets in the jar and was the closest guess - impressive estimating skills.

Well done, both of you, and we hope the sweets made it home!

Thanks to everyone who joined in.
