Coleshill's Fire Fighter Ebbon is running the London Marathon 2027 to support the Fire Fighters Charity!
The charity does incredible work supporting firefighters and their families with physical rehab, mental health care, and lifelong support.

5:00pm Thursday 13 August. Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service have declared a major incident due to a large fire in Salford Priors. There is a large emergency presence in the area and we continue to advise residents nearby to close all doors and windows. Please stay away from the area. Our control room is receiving a large number of calls, so please contact us only in a genuine emergency.
It's imperative that residents take all steps to reduce any fire risk. Please read advice on our social media channels about fire and water safety. You can make all the difference.

Warwickshire is once again experiencing another heatwave with heat health warnings in place. During hot weather, water-related incidents increase and it's especially important to remind children and young people of the dangers of entering water, there are often hidden risks such as cold-water shock or currents.
Would your child know what to do if they found themselves in a dangerous situation? 🆘 Show them this video and teach them the ‘Float to Live' technique. It could save their life one day!

Today Coleshill crews have attended multiple garden fires, where home owners have burnt garden waste, this has then spread to neighbouring hedges fences or property.
During this dry spell we urge people not to light fires due to the chance of fire spread. It only takes one spark and it could spread to be a much bigger issue than anticipated. These incidents are available and cause massive operational responses meaning we can’t be utilised elsewhere if needed.
Please dispose of garden waste utilising the green bin service or local council waste management sights.
If you see a fire call 999 and give the ///what3words to allow us to quickly locate and deal with the fire.

Help protect our open spaces:
Fully extinguish ci******es and matches.
Take all litter home (especially glass)
We discourage the use of disposable BBQ’s but if you are using one keep them off dry grass and vegetation and dispose of ashes safely only when completely cold.
