Ysgol Bryn Elian would like to congratulate all our Year 13 learners on a job well done! Your results reflect your hard work and dedication over the years, and we wish you the best of luck with all you do in the future.

We would like to thank our dedicated staff for the support, guidance and encouragement they have provided to our learners throughout their studies and in preparation for their examinations. Staff at Ysgol Bryn Elian consistently go above and beyond to help every learner thrive, and these results are a reflection of their continued commitment and dedication.

With so many learners achieving excellent outcomes, it is difficult to single out individual performances. However, a huge congratulations to: Becca who is going to study English and History at Manchester University; Darcy who is going to study at the University of Leeds to read English and Philosophy; Alfie is going to Manchester University to study Chemistry; Leighton who is going to study Physics with Astrophysics at Lancaster University, Livvy who is going to study English at York University; Ciara who is going to study Sport and Exercise Science at Bath University, Ellie-May who is going to study Mental Health Nursing at Bangor University and Liz who is going to Glasgow to study Geography and Social and Public Policy. We are incredibly proud of all our learners and congratulate them on the hard work, determination and effort they have shown over the past two years.
These results mark an important milestone and open the door to the next exciting stage of their lives, whether they are continuing in education, undertaking training or entering the world of work. We wish every learner the very best for the future and look forward to seeing what they achieve next.

A huge congratulations to all our Year 12 learners also, who have completed a tough first year and laid good ground-work for what is to come.

Mrs Lindsey Hastings Headteacher said, “It’s a testament to everyone’s hard work. It’s lovely to see the positive outcomes for many who have worked so hard to achieve the results they have today. I’d like to thank staff and parents for the support they have provided for the children of YBE; without them, much of what we do and what learners achieve would not be possible. We have such high expectations and it’s great to see these reflected by the results. Pob lwc i bawb a'r lwc gorau ar gyfer y dyfodol.”

Berlin 2026

During Activities week, 41 learners travelled to Berlin in Germany. During the week, learners got to experience language, food and culture as well as visit some incredibly important historical places. They saw the Brandenberg Gate, the Berlin TV tower, Sachsenhausen Former Concentration Camp and the Berlin Wall. On top of this, they also got to go to the Hard Rock Cafe and Berliner Republik.

What made the week so special was the incredible attitude and behaviour of the learners. They were a pleasure to spend a week with and were experts in Berlin public transport by the end of the week.

A special thanks to everyone as well for their resilience when our original flight home was cancelled - The Hotel that we were put into made up for it though.

Mr Jones would also like to thank Dr James, Miss Senior, Mrs Bunton and Mr Wilkins for their support in Berlin.

We had our sports day on Wednesday.

It was a fantastic, fully inclusive day with everything from traditional events such as 100 metres and 1500 metres and some alternative events such as welly-wanging and nerf throw.

The staff even beat the Year 10 learners in a tug of war!

Achievement for all at its best.
