With the rise of numerous parcel lockers in the area we’d like to thank our customers for continuing to support us with dropping off and collecting their parcels from us. This is a very important part of our business that helps keep us open and provide other essential services like cash deposits and withdrawals, car tax, passport applications etc to the local community.

To everyone that uses these lockers we get that they can be convenient but the downside is they put a strain on an already crowded market along with other retailers offering these services. Can a locker offer the help and advice you can get from your local Post Office for other products and services? That’s what it boils down to. Use your local Post Office and it’ll stay open, bypass your local Post Office and its days are numbered.

Call in and see us for drop off and collection of your parcels for service with a smile!

‼️We have had reports from our residential neighbours on up Castle Street about teenagers trespassing through the locked gates at the side of the Post Office when we’re closed and using the bins to climb onto the flat roof then carrying on up the back of the buildings at Castle Street.
We’re concerned about potential damage that could be caused to electrical equipment round the side/back of the building and the solar panels on the roof but are more worried that someone could injure themselves so we’re hoping that this post reaches the teenagers in question and ask that they stop trespassing onto the roof for their own safety. This has been reported to the local police who called in today to get more details and will be following up and keeping an eye out in the evenings.
Again we’re not trying to be a killjoy but don’t want to find out someone has injured themselves or damaged equipment while going across the roofs. 💥‼️
