A & D team out canvassing in Makerfield this week. It was great to meet Andy at Labour HQ. Fantastic support from members across the UK. Our board runner was from Newcastle and our other team member from Bradford. Great team spirit 🌹

A heartfelt thank you to everyone across our community who engaged with the democratic process yesterday.

To the candidates who stepped forward, the dedicated volunteers who knocked on doors in all weathers, and every person who cast their vote for Welsh Labour—your passion and hard work are the backbone of our movement.

While yesterday’s results weren't what we hoped for, we look ahead with determination. Now is the time to reflect, rebuild, and refocus. With local council elections less than a year away, our work to deliver for the people of Flintshire starts today.

We would like to extend our best wishes to Ken Skates on his success. We also share our deepest gratitude to Jack Sargeant and Lesley Griffiths for their years of tireless service and unwavering commitment to our communities.
