🍂🌾 A VERY SPECIAL HARVEST MEAL AT ROSEMOUNT! 🌾🍂

Today we gathered together for our very special harvest meal, and what a lovely occasion it was! ❤️

Our residents enjoyed a delicious three-course feast, starting with homemade carrot, butternut squash and sweet potato soup, followed by succulent pork loin with roast and mashed potatoes, carrots, broccoli, roast parsnips and gravy. And we finished off with a gorgeous apple and blackberry crumble with custard or cream. 😋🍎

Before we tucked in, our manager delivered a lovely harvest speech, reminding us of the importance of coming together, giving thanks and appreciating the familiar, cherished faces around our table. You can read the speech in the photos below. ❤️🍁

And the celebrations didn’t stop there! 🎂🥳 Our lovely Joyce has been lucky enough to celebrate her birthday TWICE here at Rosemount! As requested, teatime brought a delicious strawberry and cream sponge cake, accompanied by another round of 🎶 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! 🎶 🍓🍰

Good food, lovely company, a few birthday celebrations and plenty of smiles — just what a harvest celebration should be!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today so special. It’s days like these that make Rosemount feel like one big family. 🧡🌻

🎉 Well, the fun just doesn’t seem to be stopping here at Rosemount! 🎉

Today we celebrated the wonderful Joyce’s birthday with a beautifully decorated room, a delicious buffet dinner and, of course, some fantastic entertainment, this time from Kev, who had us all singing along! 🎶🎂

And just look at the spread that was put on! 😍 We’re not quite sure how we managed to find room for the birthday cake afterwards… but somehow we did! 😂🍰

Another lovely day filled with good food, music, laughter and, most importantly, celebrating Joyce and making some special memories. 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today so special — what a wonderful birthday celebration! 🥳🎈

Happy Birthday, Joyce! ❤️🎂

🎶 What a way to spend the day! 🎶

Today we had the fantastic Derek in entertaining us, and what can we say… what a personality! 😄

Derek was charismatic, full of energy and had great interaction with our residents. His repertoire had something for everyone, with plenty of singing, smiles and even some dancing 🎤👏

And we have to say… we think a few of our ladies may have taken a bit of a shine to Derek 😉❤️ He certainly seemed to have made quite an impression!

You certainly know how to entertain, and there’s no doubt about it… having you back is a must 💙
So Thank you for a fantastic afternoon — we can’t wait to see you again! 🎶😊

🌾🍂 Harvest is coming to Rosemount! 🍂🌾

Things have been getting a little autumnal here at Rosemount as we’ve been busy setting up our harvest display. Our residents have been hard at work making Simon the Scarecrow and creating lots of lovely harvest-themed crafts to help get everything ready. 🎃🌻

Next week is going to be a busy one, with lots of harvest activities and events planned, including our very own Harvest Meal. 🍽️

And honestly… how good does that menu sound?! 😋 From homemade carrot, butternut squash and sweet potato soup, to a delicious roast pork dinner with all the trimmings, followed by apple and blackberry crumble with custard or cream. We’re already looking forward to it!

Keep an eye on our page to see what else we get up to as we celebrate the season. ❤️

🎶 All You Need Is Love… and a trip to see The Beatles! 🎶

Edward is a massive Beatles fan, so when we heard that the Mersey Beatles were coming to the Empire Theatre, we just had to take him along 🎸🎤

And what a fantastic night it was, Edward absolutely loved the show and was thoroughly entertained from start to finish.

The Mersey Beatles brought the Fab Four back to life with a hit-packed celebration taking us through Beatlemania, Sgt. Pepper and marking the 60th anniversary of Revolver. 🥁🎶

A special thank you to Sue for taking Edward along and making sure he got to enjoy such a memorable night. 💙

Safe to say, Edward was in his element! 😍
