Great to see the lowering of the kerbs taking place on the Burn Road this morning, close to the junction of Orritor Road which I had been campaigning for.

Since the redevelopment of the “Old Tesco” site on the Burn Road (now Lidl), the prior dropped kerb has been raised.

This route is constantly used by parents with prams and people in wheelchairs as well. I have contacted Roads Service and asked for this kerb to be lowered again.

Fantastic performance by the newly formed “Filipino Choir” and beautiful cuisine made by the group. I’ll be dreaming about those spring rolls for a while! 🇵🇭

Recently, I have been contacted by constituents who have not received packages they have ordered, due to be delivered by Evri, the delivery courier.

After speaking to the Head of Public Affairs, the issue is currently being investigated.
