🦁 The Lion King 🦁

Last night, our Year 7 pupils took to the stage, and what a performance it was! We couldn’t have asked for a better show! 👏🏼👏🏼

Our Leavers’ Show is a real highlight for many of our pupils, and it is wonderful to see everyone step out of their comfort zone and showcase their talents through the Arts.

A big thank you goes out to everyone who supported us along the way and on the night! ❤️

Our pupils will be enjoying a lovely walk around the beautiful Coolnafranky Demesne, while learning all about caring for the environment and making greener choices.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our wonderful Parents and Friends of Cookstown Primary School for the very generous vouchers gifted to all staff for Teacher Appreciation Day.

Your kindness, thoughtfulness and continued support mean so much to every member of our school team. We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and for the encouragement you show us throughout the year.

Thank you also for the beautiful poem and lovely words of appreciation.

We are privileged to work with such fantastic children and supportive parents. Your kindness is truly appreciated.

🏆Podium Pictures from Sports Day 2026 🏆

We had a fantastic day celebrating our annual Sports Day! A huge congratulations to all of our medal winners, and well done to every one of our amazing pupils who took part—you should be very proud of your efforts.

A special thank you to Cookstown High School for the use of their excellent facilities, to Burn Road 24 Hour for kindly providing water bottles for all pupils, to Miss Hammond and Mr Coulter for organising such a brilliant day, and to all the parents, family members, and friends who came along to support. Your generosity and encouragement helped make Sports Day 2026 a fantastic day for all.

Congratulations to past pupil Max Anderson on his debut for England Hockey. Max started out his career at Cookstown PS as one of our hockey stars, winning the Pearson cup back in 2015. Congratulations Max! We are proud of you! Dream Big!
