1st-14th June is Hi-Vis Fortnight, an opportunity for libraries to highlight services for those with visual impairments. At Corby Library, we have a large range of large print and audiobooks to loan - audiobooks are available via 3 different formats, as CDs, mp3 playaways, and via the Borrowbox app! It's important that reading is for everyone ๐ŸŽงโค๏ธ

We also have a monthly book club for audiobook readers, run in partnership with NAB - Sight Support for Northamptonshire . This is called Sound Reads and takes place on the last Wednesday of every month: the next one is Weds 24th June, 10am-12pm. The group come along and chat, distribute audiobooks on USB to listen to ahead of the next session. They're very friendly and are open to new members - if you're visually impaired and would love to meet others and chat, come along and join in!
