The library offers a variety of genres of books, audio books (on CD or mp3 Playaway), large print books, concessionary bus passes (check website for documentation you need to bring), internet access, council enquiries, local studies and family history resources including microfiche, Rhymetimes for children, and much more. Looking for a great way to get out, meet new people and enjoy some gentle exercise with your little one?

Join us for Buggy Walks at Corby Library on Tuesday 15th September at 10:30am.

This free, friendly walk is perfect for parents, carers and anyone with a buggy who would like to enjoy a relaxed stroll while connecting with others in the local community.

• Free to attend
• No booking required
• 30 to 45 minute walk
• Refreshments available afterwards

Simply turn up and join us.

Has your child joined up to the Summer Reading Challenge yet? It's not too late to join in! Read to the Beat, this year's Summer Reading Challenge, is going on now - kids are challenged to read 6 books during the summer holidays, to win this cool medal, a certificate, and collect stickers along the way! There's even a 'Special Achievement Certificate' for children who read more than the required 6 books 🏅📚

There's no cost - just pop into the library to take part. It doesn't finish until 12th September so there's still 2 weeks to go!

It has been wonderful seeing so many of you signing up and taking part in this year's Summer Reading Challenge! We have really enjoyed chatting to you all about the books that you have read along the way! 😃🙌

If you haven't already started the challenge then you still have until 4th September to sign up in order to complete it by Saturday 12th September and get your medal and certificate. 🏅

Don't forget that we also run a school leaderboard competition, so once you finish the challenge, make sure that you come back to us to gain that all-important score for your school to help them win the coveted Summer Reading Challenge shield for the year!
