High blood pressure often has no symptoms, but it can increase your risk of serious health conditions such as heart attack and stroke. Around one in three people in the UK has high blood pressure, yet many people do not know they have it.

Come along and get your blood pressure checked at one of our free community sessions in Corby:

The Active Families Team (North Northants Leisure) are delighted to be hosting a Family Fun Day at Lodge Park Sports Centre, Corby, on Sunday 13 September from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

The event is being held to bring together local families, community organisations, partners and sports clubs to showcase the wide range of activities, services and opportunities available across the area.

Our aim is to help people become more active, improve their wellbeing and feel better connected within their local community.

The afternoon will feature a variety of free activities, including:

• Penalty Shootout
• Inflatable Axe Throwing
• Bouncy Castles
• Live displays showcasing Shape Dance and Steel Spirit Cheerleading

We honestly couldn’t be any prouder of Rory!

What an incredible 4 days at the Special Olympics Great Britain National Summer Games in Birmingham, representing .
4 days, 4 medals — including an amazing GOLD! ⭐️🥇 — 2 PBs and a whole lot of fun!

We’ve watched Rory work so hard, in his 1:1 lessons at Corby International Pool, push himself, overcome challenges and giving his best. Seeing that determination, huge smile and love for swimming is exactly what a swimming instructor and coach wants to see.

Rory, you have made us so unbelievably proud — not just because of the medals and PBs, but because of the person you are!

Well done, Rory! You absolutely smashed it!

A Big WELCOME BACK, not just from the Team at Corby International Pool but a big Hello & Welcome from one of our youngest members of the Discovery Ducking lessons too👋🏼! Although our Duck Squad member was very tired after her morning lesson, she still managed a smile and showed off her new sitting up on her own skills😊.
