This weekend something really special is happening at Bron y Graig.

Our very first Weekend Writing Retreat is fully booked and honestly, we couldn’t be more excited for everyone joining us.

We created this one for all the writers who’ve wanted to come but just can’t get away for a full week. A weekend felt like the perfect way to carve out that dedicated time, get away from the noise, and actually write.

Just a short drive from Bron Y Graig Guesthouse, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is one of those places you have to see when visiting North Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Known as the “stream in the sky”, this incredible piece of heritage is the highest canal aqueduct in the UK and a UNESCO World Heritage Site with breathtaking views stretching across the Dee Valley.

Whether you fancy a peaceful walk along the canal, a boat trip across the aqueduct, cycling routes or simply stopping to take in the scenery, it’s the perfect day out during your stay in Corwen.
