Cllr Sharon Blundell Standing up for the disabled members of our community battling to stop Norfolk County Council taking more money off them, leaving them with less to live on. Just so they can say they saved money. The most vulnerable residents are those who pay for people to help care for their loved ones. Those who can't just go out to work or pick up more money from the money tree. Yet NCC want to disadvantage them even more than they are.

The amendment not to reduce this money was lost 25 votes to 45 votes, the leading party all voted to make disabled people pay more and be worse off in even in a cost of living crisis.

This is fantastic news for Costessey and the surrounding villiages who have been plaugued with increased traffic year on year. Ok its not a magical cure that will make traffic vanish from our roads. But it is alot better than sitting on our hands doing nothing allowing more and more traffic to gridlock our roads increasing pollution and having a detrimental impact on the lives of costessey residents

Our Bus is launching the 808A service in September which will serve areas such as Costessey, Taverham and Weston Longville.
