Really enjoyed today’s walk in support of the team from Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership and others in Hartshill Country Park to help cover some of the distance they were walking to remember all those KSI in Warwickshire.

Really nice park and we love how proactive the team at Warwickshire are for their road safety actions.

This month, we stand alongside and with all the families that continue in carrying the unimaginable pain of losing a loved one, and we honor the resilience of crash survivors and their families.

Road deaths and injuries are not inevitable "accidents"—they are preventable tragedies.

How you can make a difference this August:

Drive with care: Slow down, put away your phone, stay alert and drive to the conditions of the road.

Support survivors: Check in on friends or family members that have been affected by road trauma. Continue to offer them your support.

Spread awareness: Share this post to remind others that road safety saves lives

It only takes a few seconds to read or reply to a text. But at 30 mph, those few seconds mean you’re travelling the length of a football pitch without properly watching the road.

In that time, a child could step into the road. A cyclist could appear around the corner. The car in front could brake suddenly.

Distraction is one of the biggest causes of preventable collisions. When your eyes leave the road, your mind leaves the drive—and the consequences can be devastating.

No text, notification, or social media update is worth risking your life or someone else’s.

📵 Put your phone on silent. Use “Do Not Disturb While Driving.” If it’s important, pull over somewhere safe before checking your messages.
