Operation Christmas Child UK Operation Christmas Child demonstrates God's love to children in need worldwide.

Since 1993, more than 209 million shoebox gifts (full of toys, school supplies, accessories and hygiene items) have been delivered to children in more than 100 countries. Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan's Purse International - a non-denominational evangelical Christian organisation providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God's love through His Son, Jesus Christ.

This week is our Operation Christmas Child Week of Prayer. Come and join us as we lift up all that’s to come this season.

Each day this week we are gathering on zoom to pray for:

• Our churches, volunteers, and collection centre teams
• The children who will receive shoebox gifts this year
• Our partners around the world
• And much more

🙏 Please do lift up these areas in your own personal prayers, and if you can join us for one of the remaining sessions this week.

📅 Remaining sessions are tomorrow and Thursday at 10–11am, and on Friday evening 7–8pm.

Pack a Fun, Full & Personalised shoebox that will bless a child this year!

⭐ Fun – include a "wow" item such as a soft toy or football with a pump, plus other toys a child will love.

📚 Full – add personal care items, school supplies, and more to ensure the box is brimming with treasures.

💌 Personalised – lastly, you can make your gift extra special by including a handwritten note or a photo.

Most importantly, please pray that each child who receives a shoebox will experience God's love.

🎁 One Month to National Collection Week! Is your shoebox ready?

"It was like the box was made just for me. God really answers prayers," said 14-year-old Sage from Trinidad and Tobago as he opened his Operation Christmas Child shoebox.

Inside were toys, school supplies, a sewing kit and, most special of all, a handwritten note.

This year marks 30 years of Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes reaching children in Ukraine.

A portion of the shoeboxes packed in the UK this year will be delivered to boys and girls in Ukraine. We feel very privileged to bring joy and the hope of the Gospel to these children who have been through so much.

By packing a shoebox, you can remind a child that God loves them and has not forgotten them. 💝 Will you pack a shoebox today?

“God bless the people who pack shoeboxes. Thank you for your great hearts in sending a gift to someone you don’t know. It fills children’s hearts with happiness. I’ve seen it in their faces. I’ve seen it in Angelita’s face.”

These are the words of Marta, mother of Angelita, whose life was forever changed when she took her little brother to an Operation Christmas Child outreach event in Guatemala.

📦 Shoebox Packing Tip: Make it FULL! ✨

Want to fill your shoebox to the brim this year? Here’s a simple packing tip!

Make the most of the space inside your shoebox by filling any empty gaps with extra items. You can also consider removing items from their packaging (where appropriate) to create more room for additional gifts.

Every little space filled helps bring more joy to a child around the world. 🌍💛
