Cheylesmore Community Centre, Library & C3 Coffee We believe in creating a space for recreation, education and training for our community and city. It became a charity in 1965.

Cheylesmore Community Association was officially launched by the Deputy Lord Mayor Victor Augustus Hammond on Saturday 8th May 1948 to run (now the only surviving War Hostel in Coventry) Cheylesmore Community Centre. The organisation was re-formed as a charitable company in 2010. In 2012 we signed a 50 year lease from Coventry City Council. Previously used as an administration and Hostel during Wo

rld War 2, later Cheylesmore School, and a Church and Sunday school before local schools and Quinton Baptist Church. The centre is presently undergoing significant developments. This includes energy saving measures and significant changes to the internal workings of the buildings with a new entrance with enhanced and improved layout with now operating. We’ve just made a fresh batch of Bento Cakes inspired by Coventry City — perfect for a little treat or a special moment 🎂✨

Our featured cake is a 5 inch Chocolate Bento Cake with buttercream filling (£12.50), also available in vanilla or chocolate sponge. We can even decorate your cake bespoke for a small additional cost (just ask in-store for details!).
