Free coding, gaming and AI for Coventry 13–16s — starts Tuesday 25th August.

Four days. No cost.
Lunch included.

If your teenager would rather build a game than just play one, this is their week. Techtonic is hands-on and project-based — coding, digital skills, and a proper look at how AI actually works — alongside other young people who are into the same things.

GCSE Results Day! Above all else NEETs need love & belonging which is why devolution and the family effect of hyperlocal is always the answer as it shows 1. They belong in their community and 2. They are loved. Academic success follows on from this. Today 75 NEETs celebrated 85% progression rate into college and employment with Richard Parker, West Midlands Combined Authority metro mayor and Paula Deas MBE DL, with Clare Boden-Hatton director at Coventry City Council, West Midlands Lieutenancy Les Ratcliffe MBE TD DL, Coventry Council Leader George Duggins, Education Cabinet Member Salam khan, Mal (Cllr) Mutton plus Rahul Patel and the JCP team, Coventry College, Allica Bank Shaw Trust for the CIAG support. Young people who haven’t been to school for years, many of the most vulnerable in the community, excluded from school and many who haven’t previously taken GCSEs, got their results! We are so proud of you and love you all! Over 50% increase across the board! Learners Loving Summer with PET-Xi!
This week kicked off Summer with a bang at our head office where, in collaboration with Coventry & Warwickshire councils, we are running our engaging and exciting Coventry Holiday Activities and Food Programme - HAF. We are running two variants of our course – one aimed at young entrepreneurs and the other for the gamers and coders of this world!

The Den is a PET Xi Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme designed for young people aged 13–16. It introduces participants to entrepreneurship through a series of interactive, practical, and engaging business challenges.

99% of our PET-Xi Training “NEETs” turned up for their GCSE exam. The national average for this cohort is estimated at 20%. Our “secret” to this success:

💖 ALL staff including non teaching staff arrive from 7am on exam day
