🍂 Join our FREE Family Learning autumn term groups! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💛

Looking for fun, engaging activities to enjoy with your little one? Our 50 Things To Do Before You’re Five sessions are designed for Coventry mums, dads and carers with children from birth to 5 years old.

Each week, families can enjoy a range of activities including 🎨 art, 🎶 music, 📚 stories, movement, messy play and much more – all while supporting your child’s learning and development.

📍 Autumn sessions include:
• Families for All Family Hub – Tuesdays, 9:30–11:30am from 22 September 2026
• Aspire Family Hub – Wednesdays, 9:30–11:30am from 23 September 2026
• Aspire Family Hub (Afternoon) – Wednesdays, 1:00–3:00pm from 23 September 2026
• Pathways Family Hub – Thursdays, 1:00–3:00pm from 24 September 2026
• The Moat Family Hub – Wednesdays, 1:00–3:00pm from 4 November 2026

✨ Sessions are free, friendly and relaxed, with free resources and plenty of ideas to continue the fun and learning at home.

🌟 Join us for a family wellbeing walk around Charterhouse Heritage Park, exploring the nature that surrounds this historic site. After the walk, stay and get creative in the Charterhouse Gardens by making beautiful nature inspired artwork. Everyone is welcome, please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear.

Need a little extra support? Come along to our Foodbank & Wellbeing Hub at Foleshill Baptist Church on Wednesday 9th September, 1pm–3pm. 💚
There will be friendly support and advice available on:

❤️ Health & wellbeing
🥫 Emergency food support (voucher required)
💷 Financial issues

You can also meet support organisations including the Social Prescribing Team, Citizens Advice, National Energy Action, Healthy Lifestyles, Job Shop, DWP and Green Doctor.

📚💚 A huge thank you to the wonderful volunteers at the CLM Church Foodbank Centre who helped us with our Look for a Book initiative yesterday.

The volunteers kindly agreed to hide one of our free book packs inside a food parcel for a family to discover. We are so grateful for their support and for helping us spread the joy of reading within our community.

A book is so much more than an extra item in a parcel. It can create precious moments of connection, spark imagination, support children's learning, and encourage families to spend quality time together. Sharing stories helps build language skills, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of reading.

We hope this little surprise brings a smile to a family and reminds us all of the power of books to inspire, comfort, and bring people together.

Thank you to everyone involved for helping to support both family wellbeing and a love of reading. ❤️📖
