Looking for a role with flexibility that fits around your life? We're hiring part-time Customer Advisors in Birmingham and Derby.

You'll be based in the office, helping customers in your local community and making a real difference when they need us most. No water industry experience? No problem. Never worked in a contact centre? That's fine too!

If it's in your nature to help people, support your community and make a difference when it matters most, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for friendly people who enjoy connecting with others, genuinely care about customers and are passionate about finding solutions.

Whether you're returning to work, looking for greater flexibility, or ready for a fresh start, we'll give you all the training and support you need to succeed.

Interviews will take place from 14th September, with successful candidates joining us on 2nd November.

For Charlie, Severn Trent has always felt close to home.

Growing up, he heard stories about the water industry from his mum, who worked at Severn Trent years ago. Later, after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he joined the business himself and began building a career within Group Finance.

Today, Charlie is preparing for an exciting move into Customer Operations, having discovered new opportunities through conversations, collaboration and a culture that encourages people to explore different career paths.

"The more we talk about something, the more we normalise it."

That was one of the inspiring messages shared by Helen Tomlinson, former UK Government Menopause Employment Champion, during our recent Menopause Meet up.

By speaking openly about her own experience, Helen shared the importance of normalising menopause conversations at work, and how employers, healthcare professionals and individuals all have a role to play.

From practical wellbeing tips to an empowering discussion about the "second spring" that can come post-menopause, the session left attendees with reassurance, knowledge and hope.

Thank you to Helen and everyone who joined the conversation as we continue to create a workplace where colleagues feel supported and able to thrive.
