Don’t miss out! Tomorrow evening we have the next in our series of workshops.

Are you a Green Party member who’s in a trade union? Or a trade unionist interested in Green politics?

We’re holding our first Green Party Trade Union Workshop to bring people together, share ideas and decide how we can build stronger links between the Green Party and the trade union movement in Coventry.

This isn’t a lecture or a committee meeting. It’s a chance to meet like-minded people, identify practical projects and leave with a plan for what we want to do together.

Whether you’re a workplace rep, an active trade unionist, a Green member in a union, or just interested in getting involved, we’d love to see you there.

In the first full council meeting since May's local election, Coventry Green Party councillors brought a motion to investigate Palantir. Coventry City Council has an ongoing contract with the controversial US technology company. There are growing concerns over the data they hold and how it might be used. Concerns over its use in Coventry are due to it being used for sensitive public data, including information relating to children and vulnerable adults.

The discussion came to a vote and Coventry City Council agreed to release their earlier review into the use of Palantir technology and to investigate ending the contract.
