⚠⚠⚠Could It Be Real and Café Mambo events – important notice for park users and ticket holders⚠⚠⚠

We have two music festivals coming to Coombe Abbey Park this weekend – Could It Be Real Festival on Friday 29th May (15:30 - 23:00) and Café Mambo Festival on Saturday 30th May (13:00 - 22:30).

As this is also the May school holidays, we are expecting a high volume of visitors on both these days.

For those with tickets for either event – there will be no parking available in our visitor car parks (including Coombe Abbey Hotel) as this is reserved for our regular park users and hotel guests. Advance parking tickets are available for on-site event parking and can be purchased from the organisers. If you would prefer, coach travel (that will drop you off at the event site) is also available to book direct via the event organisers. We highly encourage buses and taxis or drop off and collect as there will be a dedicated drop off zone reserved on the main event field.

Do not park on verges or surrounding roads as your vehicles are likely to be ticketed or towed.

Go Ape and Coombe Abbey Hotel guests, or visitors with appointments, please be prepared to show your booking confirmation to staff if requested upon entry to the site.

If the main visitor car park becomes full, any visitors without proof of a booking will not be permitted on site. Please consider this if you are planning on visiting us on these days.

Please follow all guidance given by any staff member to avoid a backlog of traffic.

The following traffic management will be in place for both dates:

Traffic Management
The speed limit in the Brinklow Road and Coombe Fields Road will be reduced to 30mph.
Traffic cones will line the roadside to prevent abandoned cars/parking.
There will be a three-way traffic light system in place at the entrance coming from Coventry and Brinklow and on the main drive.

Tickets
Tickets can be purchased from the following websites:

🎶UPCOMING EVENTS THIS WEEK AT COOMBE ABBEY PARK 🎶

There are two music festivals taking place this Friday and Saturday.

Friday 29th May 2026 - Could Be Real Tribute Festival - 15.30 to 23.00
www.skiddle.com/festivals/could-be-real-tribute-festival-coventry/

Saturday 30th May 2026 - Cafe Mambo Ibiza - 13.00 - 23.00 www.skiddle.com/festivals/cafe-mambo-ibiza-classics-coventry/

Coombe Abbey Park will still be open to the general public on these dates, but it will be very busy, especially near the start and finish times as festival goers are arriving and departing the event.

Only Could Be Real and Cafe Mambo Ibiza ticket holders will be permitted entrance to the festival area.

Car parking for festival ticket holders MUST be pre-booked using the links above (use the Travel tab). There is a specific area for free drop-offs for festival goers. If our main Coombe Abbey Park car park reaches capacity and you have not pre-booked festival parking then your vehicle will not be permitted on site.

If you have a booking for Coombe Abbey Hotel, Go Ape, Gladrags or Pawesome Pets then please give yourself extra time and have your booking ready to show site staff on entry. This will ensure you park in the correct area and keep site traffic moving.

We politely ask that all members of the public follow the instructions of site staff for the safety of everyone. Thank you.

It's certainly SCORCHIO this weekend. We know our dogs love a good walkies, but please take care of them in this hot weather 🌞🐶🔥

Early signs of heatstroke:

Heavy panting
Excessive drooling
Stopping on walk or seeming tired
Confusion
Foam around the mouth
Bright red gums

If in doubt, don't go out.

To quote Michael Mosley, 1957 - 2024

It is great to just stop, look around, breathe in the smell of trees and appreciate the pattern of light passing through the leaves. Pausing to notice your environment this way shifts your focus outwards, makes you more engaged with the world around you and less in your own thoughts.
