JOINT UPDATE | A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS

Jaguar Cars Sports & Social Club Committee and ELITE Sports UK are pleased to share an important update regarding the future of the Jaguar Cars Sports & Social Club Leisure Centre.

From Monday 20th July 2026, ELITE Sports UK will officially take over the management and day to day operation of the Leisure Centre, working in partnership with the newly elected Committee.

This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, built on a shared commitment to protecting the future of the Centre and continuing to provide the high quality facilities and services that our members, customers, local residents and wider community value.

Please take a few moments to read our joint statement below, which outlines what this means and our shared vision for the future.

We would like to thank everyone for your continued support and look forward to this exciting new chapter together.

It’s here! Today marks the first day of Drowning Prevention Week 2026!

We are equipping children and young people with essential water safety and lifesaving skills ahead of the summer holidays.

Through education and awareness, we are working towards communities free from drowning. But to achieve this, we need your help.

Whether you’re a parent, carer, school, club, business, or organisation, get involved, join us to spread vital water safety messages this week.

Matthew does a lot of cover work for us, he also teaches our Friday swimmers & will be starting new groups on a Sunday morning.

💦 He’s been qualified the longest out of our teaching team.. April 1998
⚽️ Enjoys supporting Tottenham Hotspur and Coventry City & spending time with my family.
🩵 He’s been wearing sky blue coloured clothes for Cov City lately making this his favourite colour
🏊🏼 Breaststroke is Matt’s favourite to swim & Front Crawl to teach.
🥔 Matt enjoys big meals with lots of meats and potatoes.
