Splash SureStart Splash Sure Start has been operational in the Lurgan and Brownlow area from October 2007 providing services to children aged 0 -4 years and their families.

Splash SureStart provides free family activities and family support and health services to families with at least one pre-school child (under age of 4 years) or mother-to-be who lives in one of our specific ward areas. History:
Sure Start is the Government’s programme to deliver the best start in life for every child by bringing together early education, childcare, health and family support. Splas

h Sure Start aims to work with parents to promote the physical, intellectual and social development of babies and young children so that they can flourish at home and when they get to school. Our Range of Sure Start Services:
Splash Sure Start does not replace existing services. We aim to build on what is already there bringing services together in a way that help families find support and advice. Development of services will be ongoing in response to needs/demands identified by the parents/carers. Splash Sure Start encourages feedback on existing services and ideas for developing services. Splash Sure Start provides the following services to Sure Start families (from pregnancy until your child goes to school:

• Cook It
• Baby Yoga
• First Aid for Babies
• Speech & Language Support
• Storytelling Sessions
• Home Safety Advice & Equipment
• Ante Natal Support
• Post Natal Support
• Breastfeeding Support
• Reflexology
• Play Advice
• Healthy Eating/Diet Advice
• Smoking Cessation

Our Baby Café and Breastfeeding Support Group, led by Janet (Health Visitor), are both continuing today at the Legahory Centre 💜

🕙 Baby Café: 10:00am – 11:00am
🕦 Breastfeeding Support: 11:30am – 12:30pm

These are drop-in sessions, so there’s no need to book – just come along! 😊
