With the summer holidays underway for many children, now is the time to make the most of our local parks, play parks and sports facilities ⚽ 🚲 β˜€οΈ .

And that is why it is so important that these vital public spaces are respected and free from anti-social behaviour.

Damage caused to play parks and sports facilities can have a significant negative impact on the wider community, so we hope we can all work together to protect these important amenities and ensure everyone can enjoy the great outdoors and the benefits that it brings for our physical and mental well-being πŸ€— .

While most of us look forward to sunny weather, the rise in temperature can pose a real danger to our beloved furry friends 🐢 .

Remember to provide shade and water throughout the day; plan your walkies for early morning or late in the evening when temperatures are cooler; and never leave your dog in a locked vehicle for prolonged periods during warm weather.

Banbridge was alive with music on Saturday as Buskfest returned for its 22nd year bringing over 60 performers to the streets and transforming the town into an open-air stage. 🎡

From ukulele bands and saxophone players to guitarists, pianists and violinists, the town was filled with a mix of sounds, creating a brilliant afternoon of family friendly entertainment.

Congratulations to all the winners especially the Overall Winner Sam Brothers and thanks to everyone who performed, attended and supported the event.

That evening the event continued with a fantastic line-up featuring Anna’s Number, supported by the 4am Club and The Reillys!
