🍂 Thank You, Community Litter Pick Volunteers! 🍂

A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time on Saturday to help with our Community Litter Pick. Your efforts make a real difference in keeping Cranbrook and Sissinghurst clean, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.

It was wonderful to see so many people coming together to care for our local environment. Every bag collected helps make our community a better place.

Our next Community Litter Pick will take place in March. Keep an eye on our website and social media for the date and further details.

Thank you once again to all who took part and supported the event. We look forward to seeing you again in the spring! 🌿♻️😊

Let’s Clean Up Cranbrook & Sissinghurst!

Join us for a Community Litter Pick on Saturday 10th October 2026, from 10.00am to 12.00pm.

Let’s come together to keep our beautiful parish clean, green, and litter-free! 💚

🗑️ We’ll provide:
✔️ Bags
✔️ Gloves
✔️ Hi-vis vests
✔️ Litter pickers
👟 Top tip: Please wear sturdy footwear.

📍 Meeting points:
📌 Cranbrook – Outside the Parish Council Office on Stone Street (bottom of the steps to St Dunstan's Church Yard)
📌 Sissinghurst – Entrance to the Jubilee Field

📚 DESIGN A BOOK COVER COMPETITION – Calling all budding artists! 🎨

Do you love books? Do you love drawing? Then this one's for you!

As part of our National Year of Reading celebrations, we're inviting everyone in Cranbrook and Sissinghurst to design their own book cover. It can be for a book you love, a story you've made up, or anything your imagination dreams up. There are no rules except to have fun and be as creative as you like.

There will be prizes for every age group, so everyone has a chance to win!

📝 Entry forms are available to pick up from the Parish Office, The Old Fire Station, Stone Street, Cranbrook, TN17 3JG.

🖌️ Bring your finished masterpiece along to our free National Year of Reading event at the Vestry Hall on Saturday 10th October, 2.00pm–4.00pm.

Come along for an afternoon of books, art and community spirit. Bring the whole family and see some wonderful creations from our local artists.

We can't wait to see what you come up with. Good luck! 📖✨
